Mr. Greene is co-founder of Greene Direct and specializes in multi-media direct marketing. Greene Direct advises and assists organizations that offer socially and environmentally responsible products and services in their efforts to envision, design and implement integrated, multi-media direct response advertising solutions. A 30 year veteran in the direct marketing industry, Larry founded several firms in the call center management field, his most recent being Network Direct, Inc. (NDI) which he founded in 1989 and where he served until 2005, when he sold the company.
NDI specialized in brokerage and management of inbound 800 and 900, live and audio-text telemarketing and outbound telemarketing services. He also connected clients with direct mail, print, radio, television direct response, data processing, and fulfillment service providers when applicable and advised on these campaigns. Some of the key clients NDI worked with during his tenure include: cause-related organizations such as Better World Society, World Wildlife Fund, Earth Day 1990, and Planet Live as well as businesses such as DisneyWorld, Disneyland, Disney Music, Proctor Gamble, A&E, Turner Broadcasting, Company, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Bose, Cigna, Consumers Union, ESPN, Kaiser, and St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Since 2005 Larry has divided his time between offering direct marketing services to companies and organizations in the green/sustainability and socially responsible business sectors and advancing initiatives in the participatory, deliberative democracy field, including launching Navigating Our Future (www.navigatingourfuture.org.), where he currently is Chairman.
